Located on Jenolan Caves Road, less than two hours from Sydney, Arundel Cottage sits on a hilltop overlooking the picturesque Lowther Valley. With panoramic views of the Blue Mountains to the east and the Great Dividing Range to the west, Arundel Cottage is ideally situated to explore the best of the Upper Blue Mountains and the Central Tablelands.
Jenolan Caves and Oberon are only 35 minutes away, the Megalong Valley and Katoomba about 45 minutes, Mayfield Gardens and Bathurst less than an hour and Orange, Mudgee and Sofala are all within a two hour drive.
Arundel is an equestrian property, surrounded by sheep and cattle farms as well as abundant wildlife. The cottage offers comfort and contemporary finishes with two king-size bedrooms, open plan living, a spacious bathroom, and generous outdoor entertaining areas.
It is fully equipped to make your getaway as easy and trouble free as possible… a peaceful retreat, where you can do as much or as little as you like.

Larry and I bought our property more than 25 years ago.
The land had originally been part of a larger property known as the Braes, Scottish for steep banks and hillsides, which perfectly describes the terrain and panoramic views over the Lowther Valley.
Over that time we have built our home, raised our children, developed the property with roads, fencing, mass plantings of trees, gardens, power, water and equestrian facilities. Recently, we built Arundel Cottage and sited it to take advantage of the views of the Blue Mountains, Mt Bindo, the Great Dividing Range and, of course, the beautiful valley below.

We had absolutely amazing time at Kerri’s place. Spectacular views and great hospitality. The cottage very well equipped and clean. Complimentary breakfast and wine was very thoughtful touches. Cut to the chase, imagine you are staying at a five-star hotel, and at the same time the care you are getting is like the one that you would get from a kind aunty or brother when you are visiting them. Kerri and Larry are genuinely caring and they don't treat like customers but friends. About their property ... I think it is quite obvious from other reviews :)

We’ve a wonderful time at Arundel Cottage. I couldn’t thank you enough to both of u Kerri and Larry. Your place is stunning and you’ve provide all the amenities that we needed in the cottage. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, everything just absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing, me and my partner couldn’t ask for more. And it was such a great time for our pre-honeymoon. We will definitely coming back to Kerri’s cottage again for sure. :) love the horses and all the nature surround us also the kangaroos. That’s the real relaxing and refreshing for us. Photos can never quite capture how amazing the view is but this place is truly spectacular. Asides from the beautiful and modern home, Kerri and Larry have added thoughtful touches throughout to ensure a relaxing stay. From the complementary wine, to a generous breakfast, and bathroom amenities, nespresso coffee and netflix on the TV, they really did think of everything! House was plenty warm and cosy and with lots of outdoor living I can imagine it would be perfect for warmer months too! Cannot fault this place or recommend highly enough!!

Arundel is absolutely beautiful from the moment you open the gate. The house was spotless! It is so clean and tidy! Kerri and Larry TRUELY go above and beyond as hosts. They have thought of all the little details; instruction manual on how to use every electrical equipment, herb garden and even a little guide to all the different furry visitors. If you stay here may sure you have breakfast on the balcony and try to spot a little wallaby jumping by or look up at the many many stars at night! Perfect getaway from the busy city.

The views were breathtaking and the place was sparkling clean, very well maintained. We got everything we needed - the views, the large balcony where you could sit for hours and take it all in, fairly large kitchen, tasteful interior, air con, and Netflix. Kerri left us with our choice of complimentary breakfast for one day. The experience was everything we needed and more!

I've been using Airbnb for years and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. We loved the balcony with it's views across the valley to the mountains, our wallaby visitors, all of the birdlife, your beautiful horses and ponies. The cottage is spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast provisions were delicious and plentiful. The cottage is central to so many great places to see and we lots to do as well as plenty of time to relax.

It was super clean and well-equipped throughout… you could just feel the love and care that Kerri and Larry have put into this place, it has definitely been well looked after. The view is absolutely stunning! It is the perfect place to relax and just take in the serenity it has to offer!
